Thank you for your interest in submitting broken buzzwords to this site! Here is an easy process for getting started:

  1. Visit our registration page. You’ll need to provide a unique username and an email address. (This whole process is managed by our WordPress content management system)
  2. An email will be sent to that address with a password and a link for logging in.
  3. Once you log in, you’ll have the opportunity to update your profile and create a personalized password. (You can change this at anytime)
  4. When you’re ready to submit a broken buzzword, you’ll find an “Add New” button under the heading “Posts” on the left-hand side.
  5. Write a title, write your definition.
  6. From categories, please select the first letter of your buzzword.
  7. Add any tags you think are appropriate (optional).
  8. Click “Submit post for review.”
  9. A site administrator will check it out before it is published.
  10. Repeat steps 4-9





Fine print:

  • This site is meant to be a fun, satirical look at language in the news business. Any submissions containing profane or crude content will not be approved for publication.
  • Do not submit any content owned by another source without proper citation.
  • Violation of these rules or other abuses of the provided account will result in the user’s account being deleted.
  • All content submitted becomes the property of Phil Tenser and this website.
  • Phil reserves the right to alter these rules and instructions at any time.
